Who's Invited
Everyone 14 and older is welcome. It's girls' choice for ages 16 and up, and anyone 14 or older can come stag. Bring a date, bring your friends, or just bring yourself; the swing lesson at the start of the night sorts out the rest.
Never danced a step? Perfect. Dance instructors teach swing basics before the band gets rolling, and the floor stays friendly all night.

Dust off the fedora
What to Wear
It's a 1940s themed formal. Think suits and ties, dress uniforms, knee-length dresses, victory rolls if you're feeling ambitious. Don't own anything vintage? No one will blink. Formal means your Sunday best, and your Sunday best is exactly right.
Good Questions
Do I need a partner?
No. Plenty of people come stag, and swing dancing swaps partners all night anyway. You'll be on the floor within the first half hour.
Do I need dance experience?
None at all. Instructors teach the basic steps at the start of the evening, and the basics are all you need to have a great time.
Can parents and grandparents come?
Please bring them. The dance is for everyone 14 and up, and the band will be playing the songs your grandparents grew up on. If they served, they get in free with a guest.
What does my ticket pay for?
The band, the hall, and free admission for every veteran in the room. Coming to the dance is itself a way of honoring them.
Is the venue accessible?
