The dance runs on neighbors. Here are three ways to help us honor them well.

Invite a Veteran

The single most helpful thing you can do costs nothing. Every veteran in the room got there because somebody asked.

Veterans are already all around you: at your own family table, next door, in your congregation, and at the VFW and American Legion posts across Utah County. The invitation that works is personal. Ask one veteran, by name, and offer them a ride.

Need words? Take these:

There's a dance in your honor on Friday, November 13th at the Luna Event Center in Orem. A live big band, the songs of the forties, and students who would love to meet you. You and a guest get in free, and I'd be glad to drive. Will you come?

Every family has one

Share Your Veteran

A grandfather in the Navy. An aunt who flew transport. A neighbor who never talks about it but keeps the photo on the mantel. Send us a picture of the veteran in your family and a few lines about who they are, and we may honor them at the dance.
